FAQ

PRIVACY

Your permits are on file with us. Here is exactly who can see them.

You uploaded a driver’s license number, an insurance policy, a commissary address, and your home address on a tax permit. It is fair to ask where all that goes. Short version: the directory shows what you choose, a planner sees only what you send them, and nobody buys this list.

WHAT WE HOLD
WHO SEES IT
WHY WE HAVE IT
PACKET LINKS

A sent packet is a door you can close.

When you send documents to an organizer, we generate a link rather than email files that live in an inbox forever. The link carries only the documents you checked, expires ten days after load-in by default, and logs every open.

SCOPE
A link holds the documents you ticked for that send. Adding a permit later does not retroactively open it to an old recipient.

EXPIRY
Ten days past load-in by default, changeable per send. After that the link is dead, not merely unlisted.

THE LOG
You see who opened it and when. If a link gets forwarded around a planning committee, you will know.

We do not sell the member list

Not to suppliers, not to insurance brokers, not to anyone. Suppliers reach members by earning a directory listing, which is a rate in writing rather than a purchase.

Renewal reminders come from us, not a marketer

Your email is used for expiration reminders, packet receipts, association notices, and renewal. You can turn the association notices off and keep the reminders.

Analytics, kept dull

We count page views and search terms to learn which permits confuse people. We do not run advertising trackers on member pages or dashboards.

A verified check means a person looked

Four documents are reviewed by TXFVA staff. That review means a human at the association opened your file — which is also why staff can see documents you never publish.

YOUR CALL

Pull a document, hide a listing, or take the whole account down.

No support ticket required for the first two — both are switches in your dashboard. For the third, email us and we will confirm in writing what was deleted and what we are required to keep.
